I swam here as a child in the 1970’s – my great granduncle helped carve the walking track. Back then there was a small waterfall as well as a mid sized sandy beach with a narrow creek that spilled into a large clear pool. Icy cold in summer and very refreshing. We used to hike down with my grandparents, place our cans of drink in the running stream to chill and have a swim/explore the gully before having a picnic lunch. Absolutely gorgeous.
